Choir Director / Musician
Job Criterias / Responsibilities:
- Must be a highly competent musician that is available to play at church services every Sunday.
- Our preference is for someone who is a christian and can play by notes and by ear and must be familiar with both traditional music-for example, hymns-and modern
gospel. - This person, also, needs to be familiar with the music and culture
of the African American church. - Our church currently has an organ, keyboards, drums, and guitars. If need be, we can purchase a piano.
- The musician would need to practice once a week, play for Sunday service,
and accompany the Pastor when he preaches at neighboring churches (which is currently not too often). - This is a salaried position.
